Cenergy Holdings’ subsidiary Hellenic Cables has secured a contract from Seaway7 to supply submarine inter-array cables for ScottishPower Renewables’ 960MW East Anglia 2 offshore wind farm in the UK.
The scope covers about 165km of 66kV cables and associated accessories, including engineering, design, manufacturing, testing and delivery.
Production will take place at Hellenic Cables’ submarine cable plant in Corinth, Greece, with manufacturing due to begin in 2026 and final deliveries scheduled for the first half of 2027.
East Anglia 2, developed by ScottishPower Renewables, is part of the East Anglia Hub in the southern North Sea.
Located about 32.6km off Suffolk, the project will feature up to 64 turbines with a capacity of up to 960MW.
Once operational, the wind farm is expected to power the equivalent of one million households.
Hellenic Cables said the award follows its contract for East Anglia THREE and further strengthens collaboration with Seaway7 and ScottishPower Renewables.
General manager Kostas Savvakis said: “We are pleased to continue our collaboration with Seaway7 and ScottishPower Renewables, contributing to the realisation of the East Anglia offshore hub with reliable and high-quality cable solutions.”
