Bureau Veritas has been awarded a contract to provide integrated site services for ScottishPower Renewables’ East Anglia 3 1400MW offshore wind farm project.
The multi-million-pound contract will see Bureau Veritas provide quality, fabrication management and inspection services, representing ScottishPower Renewables within a significant portion of the project supply chain.
Bureau Veritas will also be responsible for overseeing the quality control of the construction works as the project moves into the offshore installation phase.
East Anglia 3 is the second of ScottishPower Renewables’ offshore wind farm projects to be developed within the region and is located 69 km off the Suffolk coast.
It will cover an area of more than 305 sq km and will host 95 14.7MW wind turbines.
