Join us for Wind Week 2022, where we will be showcasing the best of the wind energy industry in the East of England. EEEGR, working with RenewableUK, GENERATE, East Wind, OrbisEnergy and developers with projects in our region have developed an action packed series of activities, workshops and networking events for the wind energy community.

 

Thursday 27 October: To kick-off the first day we have an amazing opportunity for you to visit some of the region’s leading businesses and port areas of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. We are also including CTV tours – dependent on availability at time of the tour. Places are limited so we would encourage early booking. During the day a number of w workshops will take place including; Marine Supply Chain Opportunities in big Offshore Wind with 4C Offshore – delivered by Generate and Opportunities in the Top Global Offshore Wind Markets – delivered by 4C, DIT, Generate with a case study provided by Virginia Beach.

 

Friday 28 October: Return to OrbisEnergy as events turn to a range of panel sessions to encourage your collaboration and engagement on the key topics we currently face in the wind industry in our region starting with breakfast at 08:30 followed by conference sessions on the political landscape and policy, the East Wind Offshore Cluster developments, Southern North Sea projects updates from ScottishPower Renewables, Equinor, Vattenfall, RWE and Orsted, a Skills for Energy update and a session on Holistic Marine Developments in the SNS. All followed by lunch and networking sponsored by Virginia Beach.

The Team

Steve Huxter - Building and Tenant Manager

Steve has recently been appointed as Building and Tenant Manager have joined OrbisEnergy as a Property Support Administrator in July 2019.

Ian Pease

Ian Pease, Business Development Manager joined in February 2020. His role is to drive forward OrbisEnergy as an innovation and technology cluster for the region’s clean energy sector by working closely with new and existing tenants.

Ashleigh is our newly appointed property support administrator who joined us in July 2024. Ashleigh is keen to learn and get acquainted with all the practices of the company.

Lauren has recently joined the OrbisEnergy team. Lauren is excited and looking forward to the challenges her new post will bring.
