We are delighted to be joined by a delegation from the City of Virginia Beach who will also be available for individual discussions. The USA has a target of 30GW of offshore wind by 2030. For comparison, the UK currently has 10GW, and the US has just seven turbines in operation. If you are interested in the opportunities in this fast-growing market, this seminar is for you. It will include:

  • Overview of US projects
  • Focus on Virginia and North Carolina projects
  • Assistance from Virginia Beach Economic Development
  • Case studies from local businesses winning work in US offshore wind
  • Export assistance from the Department for International Trade

Proceeding the US offshore wind seminar, from 1200 until 1315, a Memorandum of Understanding signing reception will take place, recognising the shared intention of Virginia Beach and New Anglia LEP to collaborate in the development of key sectors; Clean Energy, Digital / ICT and Agrifoods.

The Team

Angela Grey

Angela Grey, Building and Tenant Manager and joined the team at OrbisEnergy in 2017.  She brings over 25 years experience of sales and customer service.

Ian Pease

Ian Pease, Business Development Manager joined in February 2020. His role is to drive forward OrbisEnergy as an innovation and technology cluster for the region’s clean energy sector by working closely with new and existing tenants.

Carlie Seager

Carlie joined the OrbisEnergy team as a Property Support Administrator in August 2019. Carlie was previously part of a sales negotiation & customer service team and prior to that worked for the NHS in business administration.

Carlie meets all visitors and tenants to the building with her warm, friendly smile!

Steve Huxter

Steve joined OrbisEnergy as a Property Support Administrator in July 2019. He brings over 30 years experience of Central Government service across various departments, most recently with the HMRC. He recently relocated to Lowestoft with his family and is enjoying exploring the local area, especially the wonderful sea views.

Steve is always on hand at OrbisEnergy to help and assist our tenants and visitors to ensure their meetings run smoothly.
