This is your chance to hear first-hand how cross industry collaborations are developing throughout the offshore wind industry. A day of innovation, collaboration and learning to future proof your business.

You will hear from Ian Downey, UK Ambassador, ESA Business Applications from the European Space Agency (ESA). Ian will give an overview of ESA’s Business Applications funding programme, the potential roles for space in offshore energy. He will share some case studies from previously funded activities and what upcoming funding opportunities will be coming available.

Steve Dorling from Weatherquest Ltd will speak on supporting the offshore wind sector and on the key role of remote sensing data for weather-related applications.

Head of Aviation, Dujon Goncalves- Collins from RUK will be presenting at the Offshore Wind Meets Space event.

Steve Huxter

Steve has recently been appointed as Building and Tenant Manager have joined OrbisEnergy as a Property Support Administrator in July 2019.

Ian Pease

Ian Pease, Business Development Manager joined in February 2020. His role is to drive forward OrbisEnergy as an innovation and technology cluster for the region’s clean energy sector by working closely with new and existing tenants.

Carlie Evans

Carlie joined the OrbisEnergy team as a Property Support Administrator in August 2019. Carlie was previously part of a sales negotiation & customer service team and prior to that worked for the NHS in business administration.

Carlie meets all visitors and tenants to the building with her warm, friendly smile!

Lauren Knowles

Lauren has recently joined the OrbisEnergy team. Lauren is excited and looking forward to the challenges her new post will bring.
