Offshore Wind Week – East Anglia

EEEGR is delighted to be able to announce that it will, once again, be working with RenewableUK, the main offshore wind operators in our region and other stakeholders in celebrating Offshore Wind Week with the bespoke East Anglian event taking place on November 22nd and 23rd at OrbisEnergy in Lowestoft. On November 22nd, EEEGR will host a drinks reception sponsored by Survitec. This will take place from 18:00 – 20:00. Registration will open from 17:30.

Whilst the speaker line up is still being confirmed we will have updates on many of the projects under construction, those projects successfully secured a Contract for Difference (CfD) as well as those still in planning. Speakers will include ScottishPower Renewables, Statoil and Vattenfall. We will also here from local MP Peter Aldous on his views of how the sector has impacted upon his constituency in Waveney and his wider views on future development for offshore wind in the wider region.

Skills provision will also be high on the agenda with presentations and case studies from the regions apprentices, schools, colleges and universities as well as commercial skills providers.

The Team

Angela Grey

Angela Grey is the newest member of the team at OrbisEnergy and joined as Centre Coordinator in July 2017.  She brings over 20 years experience of sales and customer service.

Angela is new to offshore renewables and is eager to build a sound knowledge of the industry.

Devon Mills

Devon has joined the team at OrbisEnergy as an Administration Coordinator in November 2014 and more recently a Senior Coordinator in January 2016. Having previously worked within various customer service roles she is pleased to be able to apply her skills and knowledge to her position at OrbisEnergy.

She is keen to build a strong understanding within the Offshore Renewable industry, whilst being able to develop a good mind for business and sales.

Johnathan Reynolds

Johnathan is responsible for all aspects of business and supply chain development for the flagship innovation and incubation centre for offshore renewables in the east of England, OrbisEnergy.
